Youth sentenced to community service and rehabilitation order for breaching ASBO

A 16-year-old was sentenced to 100 hours community service and made subject to a Youth Rehabilitation Order by Calderdale Magistrates’ Court, after breaching an Anti Social Behaviour Order.

Officers from the Northowram and Shelf Policing Team recently charged the 16-year-old - who cannot be named for legal reasons - with breaching an ASBO following an incident outside Towngate Stores in Northowram.

The youth appeared at Calderdale Magistrates’ Court and was placed with the YBO order for 12 months.
