CROWDS flocked to enjoy music, magic and traditional crafts at Heptonstall Festival.
Kick-starting the event were keen runners taking part in the festival fell race, setting off from the White Lion and trying to get back in time for the music and stalls.
Among the entertainment on offer were performances from a host of local musicians at Weavers Square and The Cross Inn,
They included punk and ska band The Fat Rascals, folk-rock group Mahogany Monkey, juke joint jive band TC and The Swing Cats and punk act The Liberators.
There were also performances from James Bragg, Virgil Presley, Paul Weatherhead., John Stammers and Ian Hinton Smith, and iSpice Steve.
Crowds could see displays of wood turning, horse shoeing, tool sharpening and wool spinning as well as take part in a poetry walk and talk starting outside the museum.
For children there was magic from Neal Alexander Wells, face painting and stories from Ursula Holden Gill.Crowsd
