Hundreds of cyclists participated in a 26-mile Summer Mountain Bike Challenge for Overgate Hospice

More than 100 cyclists took part in a Summer Mountain Bike Challenge to raise money for Overgate Hospice.

The 148 cyclists battled the summer heat on June 22 to take part in the 26-mile route which climbed more than 3,000 feet around the Calderdale countryside.

Some cyclists came from as far away as the Isle of Man to take part and remember their loved ones by raising much needed money for the Hospice.

Lauren Barber, Community Fundraiser said “This event is run by some amazing volunteers, we are so please that so many cyclists took part and hope that the support continues and that the sponsor money keeps coming in.”

If you would like a registration form for the 2015 Mountain Bike Challenge please contact Lauren on 01422 387122 or email laura.barber@overgatehospice.nhs.uk
