THEATRE bosses in Halifax have appealed to all talented dancers to audition for this year’s pantomime.

Preparations are underway at the town’s Victoria Theatre for this year’s spectacular adventure Aladdin, which will star Halifax’s own Neil Hurst.

On Sunday September 11 the producers, Imagine Theatre, will be in town to hold the open chorus auditions for the show.

They have appealed for children with star quality between the ages of eight and 16 to come and treat the boards at auditions from 10am.

Those interested in auditioning should arrive at the Theatre at 9.45am, wearing comfortable clothing and shoes suitable to move and dance in.

Auditionees must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian who will be asked to wait throughout the audition process.

Aladdin will run from December 10 to January 2.
