THE stunning sunset last Friday had you all reaching for your cameras and pointing to the sky.

As the sun went down, the twlight sky was lit up in a blaze of glory with a heady mix of reds, blue, yellow, grey and purple.

And it was heaven sent for our growing army of amateur photographers - who zoomed out and zoomed in for our popular See It, Snap It, Send It feature.

Debra Holmes, of Siddal View, Siddal, Halifax, took views from Siddal of the sun going down towards Calderdale Royal Hospital.

See It, Snap It, Send It regular contributor Alan Forrest, of Willowfield Road, Halifax, captured the sunset over a queue of traffic in Halifax.

And Courier reader Wray Simcock simply titled his picture “Red Sky On Friday Night”.
