Detectives issue witness appeal after attempted robery

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery.

Between 8 and 8.30pm on Thursday, March 7, a 17-year-old girl was walking along Fleminghouse Lane in Almondbury, Huddersfield, when she was approached by two men who threatened her with whats believed to be a knife.

They grabbed her and demanded she emptied her pockets, but she wasnt carrying any with her.

The suspects then walked away without stealing anything and the victim was not injured.

They are described as white men aged in their late teens. One was 6 feet tall with the lower half of his face covered with a black cloth and a grey coloured hooded top with his hood up. The other is described as wearing blue tracksuit bottoms with a white logo on the top of the leg.
