Queens Sports Club, in Halifax, raised £1,400 for Brain Tumour Research and Support at a charity dinner in memory of a long standing member of the club, Martin Browes.

The charity helps individuals and families throughout Yorkshire and helps pay for research at the Leeds Institute for Molecular Medicine. Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and more people under the age of 40 die from brain tumours than from any other cancer.
