Time is running out to get your hands on stamps of Calderdale’s Paralympic golden girl Hannah Cockroft.

Hurricane Hannah got her own stamps for winning the T34 100m and 200m sprints at the Games in London this year.

Stamps featuring Olympic and Paralympic gold medallists will be withdrawn from sale on December 31, 2012, so don’t miss out on including the wheelchair racer on your Christmas cards or completing your set.

Andrew Hammond, Royal Mail’s managing director of stamps and collectibles, said: “We think there are a lot of people who have bought some and now want the full set. They’ve only got until December 31 to complete their collection.”

In total 63 different stamps were issued to recognise the success of Team GB and ParalympicsGB athletes.
