Last time you helped fill the wine rack several times over, now we need you to hunt in the cupboards and do it again.

The fund-raising team at Overgate Hospice are asking you to “drink it or donate it” for their latest appeal.

“If you have a bottle of wine, bubbly or a spirit that’s been sat at the back of the cupboard for years, please donate it to the hospice where we can use it as a raffle prize, in a hamper or auction it at one of our next events; they will all make money for the hospice,” said Appeals Manager Laura Golding.

The Hospice in Elland helps people with life-threatening illnesses and needs more than £2.2million each year to keep going.

“We have got a lot of events that are happening over the next few months including our annual ball and we are in desperate need of prizes to raffle as we are running very low,” said Laura.

Donations can be taken to the hospice on Hullen Edge Road, or call the fundraising team on 01422 387121.
