Easter fun at Halifax Minster

Halifax’s historic Minster will be the setting for Easter fun for youngsters on Good Friday

A children’s activity morning celebrating the Easter story through craft, film and song is being held from 10am to noon.

Minster Assistant Curate, Jonathan Bish said: “We look forward to inviting all the local community into our Easter services. It’s particularly important for us that we offer children the opportunity to engage with the meaning of Easter. So we’re using things they already know and like to them to tell the story, like craft activities and films. Hopefully it will help them to understand the real meaning of Easter, and their parents might learn a thing or too as well!”

The event is open to all children of primary school age, and because the session is likely to be popular, advance booking is recommended.

Parents who wish their children to attend, should book a place by contacting the Minster office on 01422 355436 or by emailing info@halifaxminster.org.uk
