Dean Clough Cooking School and The Maltings College is offering students the opportunity to train to be a chef.
Students will spend two days a week at The Cooking School, Halifax, learning with an expert tutor in state-of-the-art facilities as part of the full time course. The rest of the timetable will be spent at Halifax’s Maltings College.
Course leader, Andy Seaman, said: “The opportunities these learners are given will put them ahead of other candidates. They get involved in producing food for our onsite café at Dean Clough and in the past have also produced food for events such as the Halifax Festival. This is a great route into employment for budding chefs.”
