Pupils at Northowram Primary School took part in an art competition to design a logo for their first ever farmers’ market.
The event will take place on Thursday May 1 as part of the school’s drive to promote healthy eating and to get more involved in the local community.
The winning design was created by Milli Jade Whelan and was chosen by governors from the school.
Dan Lomas, head teacher commented: “The competition was very popular with pupils and gave them a chance to showcase their design skills for our first ever Farmers’ Market.”
The Farmers’ Market takes place between 3pm and 6pm at Halifax school and is free to enter.
