STUDENTS are getting their teeth into a horror story with a twist.
The Dracula Spectacular will be performed by Hipperholme and Lightcliffe pupils this week.
Chris Cresswell, director and head of arts, said: “It’s a bit of an old school classic that originally came out in the 70s.
“We have spent a lot of time updating the jokes to give them a more modern feel.”
The play is a spoof of the Bram Stoker’s Dracula in a similar vein to Mel Brooks’ film Young Frankenstein.
“Our dress rehearsal has gone very well with no major glitches - just a few tweaks,” said Mr Cresswell.
The play runs from tomorrow to Saturday March 26 at the school in Stoney Lane, Lightcliffe.
Tickets cost £4 for adults and £3 for concessions and can be purchased on the door or in advance by phoning the school.
