Gruesome ghouls got on their dancing shoes for a spook-tacular party.

There was all sorts of fiendish fun in store at Whitehill Primary School, Occupation Lane, Illingworth. Wicked witches, ghostly goblins and spooky spectres filled the Hallowe’en themed extravaganza.

The petrifying party was a chance for pupils to dress up and celebrate breaking up for their half term holiday.

Pupils of all ages joined in the fun with costumes including ghosts, monsters, werewolves, pumpkins and even some princesses taking over the school.

Teachers were bitten by the fancy dress bug.

They joined in the fun showing off their best costumes and taking part in ghoulish games and terrifying tunes.

The staff are just hoping there are some ghostbusters available to get the school back to normal for the next half term.
