Year 3 pupils, Josh Oliver, eight, and Kira Rhodes-Kazimierczyk, seven, of Greetland Academy got green-fingered in a ‘How does your garden grow’ inspiration day, designed to introduce their new topic.

They had a chance to try out a range of activities, including making chocolate courgette cake, making cress heads and using maths to design their own garden.

Teacher Katie Sheard said: “It’s making it real life, they all had a fantastic time.”
