GARDENING and baking lessons were served up for a school’s sustainability theme.
Pupils at Clifton St John’s Primary School, Clifton, have been learning ways they can sustain themselves throughout their lives.
The school has its own garden where the children have been planting fruit and vegetables and trying their hand at some home baking.
Year 3 teacher Rebecca Hayley said: “We have been focusing on sustainability. The kids had a lot of fun making bread and sowing seeds.
“They also learned some important skills for the future.”
