Around 300 students took part in a static cycle ride for charity.
The pupils from Ryburn Valley High School cycled 900 miles using the static cycles, supplied by the Community Foundation for Calderdale.
In total the students raised £1,300 to be split between the Community Foundation and Children in Need.
They took 15 minute stints on the bikes with some dressed up as the Three Musketeers and other characters while others took it more seriously with one sixth form student managing to cover eight miles.
The cycles are part of the Foundation’s Cycle For Work fundraising scheme which will provide funding for youth apprenticeships.
Its fundraising will culminate with Chief Executive Steve Duncan and nine others cycling their own 900 mile stint but they will be out on the roads from Land’s End to John O’Groats in April 2013.
