Key stage one students at Greetland academy had an annual visit from sausage dog, Musfasa, during the school’s pet awareness week. Miss Sheard, teacher and dog owner, said: “Children learnt how to groom and pat a dog as well as the importance of using a pooper scooper. Those scared of dogs were taught to stand still rather than running away.

After much fussing, Musfasa retired to a quiet and dark room, said Miss Sheard.
