The Maltings College will be hosting an Open Evening on Thursday 22 June for students potentially interested in joining the college.
Taking place from 5.30pm, the evening offers applicants the chance to view the facilities such as the onsite garage and hair salon and meet the lecturing team and find out how joining the college can help them to ‘get in’ to the workplace.
A number of places on courses including Business, Hairdressing, Beauty, Childcare, Light Motor Vehicle, Health and Social Care, IT and Sport are currently available.
The college specialises in offering courses that help students gain a qualification in an environment that reflects that of the workplace, meaning that the practical skills and personal attributes needed to succeed in the chosen industry are developed.
Some courses including Health and Social Care and Childcare also support progression on to university.
The college has introduced a simple and convenient online application process at www.maltingscollege.co.uk. Students who want to apply for a place before the Open Evening are welcome to do so, and will be invited to visit the college where they will be able to meet their lecturer and receive an instant decision on their application.
