A giant white ribbon was tied around a school to show support for the campaign to stop domestic violence.
Pupils from Crossley Heath School, Halifax, took part in the show of solidarity as part of the White Ribbon Campaign.
The campaign is an international initiative set up by men to combat domestic violence against women.
The UK arm is based in Mytholmroyd but still requires plenty of coverage to boost awareness in the local community.
The charity is completely dependent on donations to help further their work.
The fabric for the giant ribbon was kindly donated by Sport and Playbase Ltd.
The Huddersfield based company provide high quality educational products such as play mats for schools and businesses.
Last year Chris Green, executive director of the White Ribbon Campaign UK, carried the Olympic torch through Halifax after being nominated thanks to his sterling work for the campaign.
