Holy Trinity Primary School is celebrating being given two awards.
They won a gold Geography Mark for providing innovative geography lessons, and are only the 61st school in the country to receive a NACE Challenge award for their education provision to gifted pupils.
Gifted and Talented Manager Caroline Pollitt said: “We’re very proud to have achieved these accolades and of all the children. It’s been a real team effort.”
Geography co-ordinator Joanne Davey said: “We’re delighted our high quality standard of teaching using the local area and the school grounds has been recognised in this way.”
