A Halifax school has appeared on televsion today for their film they created about a young boy talking about being bullied.

Beech Hill Primary School was the winner of the junior category in ITV’s Good Morning Britain’s Action! Against Bullying campaign.

Primary and senior schools were invited to make one minute anti-bullying films which were then put before a judging panel which included actor and director Noel Clarke, Emmerdale actress Gemma Oaten. The winner in each category - senior and junior - was then chosen.

The winning videos - one in senior category and one in junior category will be shown at a red carpet premiere at a Leicester Square cinema on November 14.

Actor and director Noel Clarke said: “I really enjoyed getting to see all the films and it was great to see such creativity and potential in both the junior and senior category. The anti-bullying messages in the films were really strong and they were all of a really high standard.

“It was difficult to choose the final winners but we were all really happy with our final choices in each category.”
