Enquiries continue in to armed police incident in Queensbury

Investigations are ongoing following a ‘violent’ incident in Queensbury on Saturday, police have confirmed.

It’s thought police were called to the Co-op on High Street at just before 2pm and a number of armed response vehicles were also sent to the scene.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said five men, aged between 20 and 22, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

They have now been released pending further enquiries.
