A special ball took place to raise money for a eye charity.
The Eye Ball was held by the Aye Eye Charity at The Venue, Bowers Mill, Barkisland.
Almost 200 people enjoyed a four course meal with entertainment provided by Afterglow, Jive Time and Gerald Holden.
There was also a raffle and an auction which raised a huge £5,550 for the charity, which is based in Greetland, Halifax.
The money will help go towards a new laser machine.
The machine costs £45,000 and will assist in the treatment of glaucoma.
Sue Hanson said she was thrilled with the turnout.
She added: “All the members of Aye Eye wish to thank all those who supported this successful event.”
The charity aims to preserve and protect the health of patients at both Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary Eye Clinics by providing equipment not normally given by the state.
