Fancy a ghoulish ride on the train? Grand central’s spook-tecular

THE popular Grand Central spooktacular ghost train will again be calling in Calderdale and raising funds for charity.

Tickets are on sale for passengers, witches, ghouls and ghosts to join the Hallowe’en fun.

There will be entertainers on the train and before that a welcome reception at the Great Victoria Hotel in Bradford before the train departs on Thursday and Friday October 27 and 28.

It will call at Halifax at 6.53pm, Brighouse 7.04 pm before making its way to Doncaster and returning to Bradford for 10 pm.

Grand Central Railway ran its first ghost train last year and it was a sellout.

This year the railway operator has decided to run the train over two mights with profits going to The Lighthouse Group – a nationwide Christian charity dedicated to working with young people.

Tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £7.50 for children with food and drink included in the price.

Tickets can be obtained from the Great Victoria Hotel in Bradford, Square Arts Centre in Halifax, Huddersfield Station Buffet and Brighouse Station Café.
