FC Halifax Town secretary leaves

FC Halifax Town have announced that secretary Angie Firth will leave her position at the club at the end of the month.

She is leaving to take up another, as yet unconfirmed, post within the game.

A club statement read:

"FC Halifax Town has reluctantly accepted the resignation of club secretary, Angie Firth.

"As well as working for the previous club in two spells totalling six years, Angie has helped to see the new club, FC Halifax Town, through its first season.

"Angie has great experience in all aspects of football administration, good organisational ability and excellent secretarial skills and these abilities will be a challenge to replace.

"The club would like to thank Angie for all that she has done and wish her well in her future move.

"Her new appointment should provide her with great opportunities in the future. She leaves on June 30.

"In order to make an appointment as reasonably quickly as possible, FC Halifax Town is advertising for two part-time positions, the first one possibly being full-time.

"They are 'Football Club Secretary' and 'Office Administration & Sales'. All applications will be treated in strictest confidence."
