FC Halifax Town v Northwich Victoria: Town held at home

FC Halifax Town 1 Northwich Vics 1 The Shaymen were forced to settle for a share of the spoils despite dominating their clash with Northwich

Town took the lead after 14 minutes when Jamie Vardy crossed low from the left for Danny Holland who fired home from eight yards.

The Shaymen continued to have the better of the first half but were unable to add to their tally, the closest they came was in stoppage time when Holland was denied by Vics keeper James Spencer from close range.
