FC Halifax Town 1 Warrington Town 0Paul Gedman scored the first-ever FC Halifax Town goal at the Shay to to give them victory in tonight's Unibond League Division One clash with Warrington.

Gedman's historic strike came after 11 minutes with a delightful chip over the advancing keeper after he had pounced on a poor back pass.

And he could have had a second soon after but headed a Justin Walker corner narrowlly over the top.

Gedman headed a Walker corner wide early in the second half but Town were far more subdued in the second half, allowing Warrington to see more of the ball.
