ELVIS is back in the building - or at least a straw-stuffed version of him is.
The King was just one of a host of music legends appearing in fields across Norland for the annual scarecrow festival.
Community groups, schools and villagers all got creative to make straw-filled figures of their favourite acts.
Lady Gaga, Freddie Mercury, Elton John, the Spice Girls and Jim Morrison were all on show.
The creations also included Adam Ant, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, Cliff Richard and even Jedward.
Organisers said there were 68 entries for this year this year’s pop stars theme, although there could be more as often some spring up without being officially entered. This year’s scarecrows also included a huge straw teddy bear.
Standing 20 feet high, it is the festival’s biggest ever entry.
Entertainment was provided over the weekend by the Friendly and Hebden Bridge bands.
Now in its 11th year the festival raises money for the community, including the church and school.
