A sliproad for the M62 has been shut amidst fears a building hit by fire could collapse.
Fire crews from Elland, Brighouse and Huddersfield were called to the building on New Hey Road in Outlane at 6.20am today.
The blaze is near the eastbound carriageway of the motorway around junction 23.
The Highways Agency says it has been advised that there is a risk the building could collapse onto the slip road itself.
Drivers seeking to join the M62 are being directed to join junction 24 instead. There is no sliproad onto the eastbound carriageway at junction 23.
The exit slip road from the eastbound carriageway remains open but the westbound slip road will remain closed until further notice and until the fire service has advised it is safe.
