A factory explosion which killed Halifax man David Cole has led to a prosecution by the Health and Safety Executive.
Mr Cole, 37, of Salterhebble, Halifax, died in the blast at Andrew Jones Pies factory in Huddersfield in April 2009.
The Crown Prosecution Service later said it had insufficient evidence to prosecute the company,
But, the HSE has brought charges against the firm and a preliminary hearing will be heard at Leeds Crown Court on October 18.
The company, which is now in administration, faces three charges of contravening a health and safety regulation.
A Huddersfield man was badly hurt in the incident and four others suffered minor injuries.
