Police were called to Owl Lane in Dewsbury after a crash which left one car flipped on to its roof.

The crash happened at around 8am this morning (Friday).

Fire and ambulance services were also called to the crash near the Tetleys Stadium, which involved five cars.

Four people were taken by ambulance to Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield and one was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.

Their injuries are not thought to be serious,

Owl Lane was re-open by 11.30am.

Police said they were currently investigating the cause of the crash.
