Fire crews tackled a major blaze at the former Dorlux bed factory last night (Sunday).

Crews from Halifax, Elland, Brighouse and Bradford were called to the derelict warehouse off Shroggs Road, at just after 6pm.

Around 20 per cent of the ground floor was on fire and two aerial appliances, four breathing apparatus and two large jets were used at the height of the blaze.

Police closed Shroggs Road while crews tackled the fire and bus diversions were put in place.
