Young gardeners in Mytholmroyd made the most of the sun last weekend.

Tom Andrews, Oliver Galbraith, Isabella Cox and Francesca Cox proved that hard work is fun when you are young when they planted a sea of yellow flowers at the Mytholmroyd Railway Station , just in time for the cyclists take to the streets for the upcoming Tour De France.

The Station Partnership were able to prepare the flower displays without the usual disruption of the May monsoon.

The flowers planted were grown by the young gardeners prior to the planting.
