Secretary John Howarth said it was a very successful event.

“We like to keep the tradition of annual dinners going for old boys of all vintages,” he said.

Former pupils from Brighouse Girls’ Grammar School met to talk about days gone by at their annual reunion. It was also held at the Auctioneer and around 80 pupils attended.

The ladies enjoyed a four-course meal and sharing memories before ending the night by singing the school song.
