French roller derby team coming to Halifax for match against Hot Wheel Roller Derby

Hot Wheel Roller Derby has invited French team Paris Rollergirls to England to play them in a match at North Bridge Leisure Centre in Halifax on Saturday, April 6.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Calderdale are set to be among the crowds at the game, which will be followed by another match - this time between men’s roller derby team The Inhuman League, from Sheffield, and Paris men’s team The Panam Squad.
There will also be a magician, stalls and a raffle. for crowds to enjoy.
Doors openat 3.15pm and the first game will kick off at 3.45pm.
Awards for skaters will be presented at around 5pm, with the men’s game starting straight after. 
Adult tickets are available in advance at £6 from or via the team’s Facebook page. 
On the door, tickets will be charged at £7. 
Under 16s will be admitted for free.
