A military funeral for Drummer Lee Rigby will take place at Bury Parish Church on July 12.
The soldier who was brutally killed in Woolwich, in May, married Halifax girl Rebecca Metcalfe at St Anne’s Church, Southowram, in October 2007.
His funeral will be a private service and broadcast to outsiders via a PA system, said the Ministry of Defence.
A parade of drummers will escort the cortege shortly after 4 pm July 11, to be met by a guard of honour of 40 soldiers drawn from the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.
The body will be guarded overnight by members of his regiment.
A private committal will take place at Middleton Cemetery.
Two men accused of murdering Drummer Rigby - Michael Adebolajo, 28, and Michael Adebowale, 22, - will face trial on November 18. They also face other charges connected to the incident.
