The funeral of Bob Leedham takes place next Friday (21st) at Halifax Minster at 11 am followed by burial at Luddenden Cemetery.
The well known Halifax Sunday Football League official and owner of “Something Sweet” shop, Hebden Bridge, was killed in a road accident in Thailand on January 26 while on holiday with his wife, Gemma.
They were riding a motor scooter on the Thai island of Koh Samui. Gemma needed hospital treatment for her injuries.
An inquest is expected to be opened and adjourned next week.
Mr Leedham, aged 58, lived in Halifax and was a lifelong Liverpool Football Club supporter and a regular at games at Anfield.
Consequently, his family have requested that those attending the funeral wear a splash of red. There will be family flowers only but donations in lieu will go towards the Halifax Minster.
