A Halifax charity celebrated its third anniversary with a visit from its patron - TV funnyman and panto star Billy Pearce.
Yorkshire Children’s Trust operates from Holmfield Mill and has given thousands of pounds in grants to families with long term sick or disabled children.
Founder Simon Widdop said it was a great day with a tea party and fun activities including face painting and juggling.
Billy said the charity was a cause close to his heart and he intends getting more involved in the future. And, the charity is hoping to create a disabled play area in Halifax with his support and it will include the “Billy Pearce Community Room.”
