The game between Hull and Bradford Bulls had to be called off after an accident on the M62.
The match was due to take place last night and although players from the Bulls were delayed after having to take a detour on the A19 they reached the ground half an hour before the scheduled 8pm kick-off.
But nine Hull players travelling from their homes in West Yorkshire were unable to make it to the ground before the latest allowed kick-off time of 9.15pm,
The Super League tie will be played at 3pm on Sunday.
Players and supporters were delayed from getting to the match due to an accident involving an oil tanker that had overturned.
The motorway was closed in both directions between junctions 34 and 35.
