PureGym Halifax will be supporting National Fitness Day by giving non-members the chance to use the facilities on Wednesday.

Hundreds of clubs, parks and leisure centres, including PureGym Halifax will be getting involved in a bid to get the nation moving for free.

PureGym Halifax will be offering free day passes for anyone over eighteen that is looking to lead a healthier lifestyle and experience first-hand what the club has to offer.

The initiative is being run by not-for-profit health body ukactive who are taking on the task of raising awareness of the importance and benefits of physical activity. The ultimate goal is to kick-start the journey to regular exercise for thousands of people across the country.

Tom Hoesli, general manager at PureGym Halifax, said: “National Fitness Day is a great initiative that PureGym are proud to be a part of. We are becoming more sedentary as a nation so anything that we can do to encourage people to get active and educate them on the benefits is worthwhile.”
