The annual RSPCA Dog Day afternoon will take place tomorrow from 12.30pm.
The charity will offer eight classes at Shibden Park, Halifax. It is being run with the Shibden Park Rangers. Judges will be looking for the dog with the most appealing eyes, the cutest well-behaved puppy under 12 months, the best child handler, the dog who can perform the best trick and the dog the judge would most like to take home, plus the best fancy dress.
The entry fee is £1 per class.
A have-a-go agility course will be open throughout the afternoon at just £1 a go or visitors can try the Hot Dog Sausage Run.
Other attractions include the dippy duck game and a charity shop table.

Quiz still on!
Halifax Festival may have closed its doors for this year, but things are still going on.
Halifax Civic Trust’s Festival Civic Trail can still be completed, and entered into a prize draw.
The quiz includes 15 questions to answer. Copies are available from Square Chapel, Halifax Minster, Piece Hall Tourist Information Office, Halifax Reference Library and Halifax Town Hall or downloaded from the fesitval website.
The closing date is July 29, and completed forms must be returned to Square Chapel.
