A hairdressers has undergone a ghostly make-over.

Hair Rehab, of Boothtown, has been transformed into a ghoulish salon ahead of Halloween. Until the eve of the Western feast of all hallows, on October 31, Lydia Horsfall, Alison Southwell and staff will dress as mummies, ghosts and witches, every Thursday.

Stylist Alison Southwell said: “For the last five years we have dressed up in costume in the build up to Halloween. Children love it, it’s not something they expect when they come to get their hair cut. We have a coffin with a skeleton and sweets in it, for the children.”
