DAREDEVIL grandma Libby Wills abseiled down a 100ft wall in the name of charity.

The 47-year-old of Brougham Court, Boothtown, descended Huddersfield University’s central building to raise £400 for four charities.

Mrs Wills is manager of West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trusts’s shop in King Cross, Halifax, which was one of the charities to benefit from her sponsorship. The others were Cancer Research UK, Barnado’s and The Blind Society.

Mrs Wills said: “I loved it. This was the first time I’d ever done anything like it. I was nervous but really enjoyed it. I want to do it again now.”

She was supported by family members including her granddaughter Lily Wills, three, as well as the Forget Me Not’s charity doll Adrian, which anyone can take to a fund-raising event and have their picture taken with for a donation to the charity.
