HAFC bag place in Shay final - plus, see slide show of Greetland U14s v Hammat
HAFC under 14s booked a cup final date at the Shay with a 6-1 success over Crossleys at Moor Lane.
The league leaders enjoyed the perfect start with Danny Stirland, fit again after appendix surgery, volleying home in the first minute from outside the penalty area.
With the HAFC midfield dominating proceedings Joe McGinley and Stirland continued to terrorise the Crossleys defence.
McGinley went on to score twice with Stirland netting a hat-trick to give their side an unassailable 5-0 half time advantage.
Crossleys never gave up and played some fine football during a keenly contested second period but with time running out HAFC extended their lead, Stirland scoring his fourth.
Crossleys battled on and were rewarded when their man of the match Andrew Sayle grabbed a fine last minute consolation.
GREETLAND Goldstars under 11s bounced back from their Easter break with a fine 5 -1 win over Hebden Bridge Tigers in the Savile League.
Playing down the hill in the first half, and missing a number of players, Greetland soon found their scoring boots when Ryan Greenwood cut in from the left and drilled home.
Man of the match Thomas Hales fired in the second after some great build up play down the middle of the park before George King hit the third after a great cross from the lively Greenwood.
Joseph Nicholson hit a sweet volley over the static keeper to make it 4-0 at half time.
Goldstars relaxed after the break and struggled with their passing game, their only further goal coming a Luke Sweeney right footer. Hebden did manage a consolation goal near the end.
WARLEY Whites under 13s came from a goal down to beat Crossleys 9-1.
Warley played some good football but went behind to a neat finish from Jordan Stead.
Warley created chances and after James Hanson had put one wide he won a penalty just before half time and Brad Hardcastle rattled the spot kick into the top corner.
Warley ran riot after the break with Kieran Stafford grabbing four goals, his best a excellent chip from the edge of the area.
James Hanson also scored the perfect hat trick, a flick header from one of Brad Hardcastle's great crosses, a fantastic left foot drive to the corner and a neat finish with his right.
KAIUS Turner was in fantastic form for St Columbas under sevens as he netted 11 times in a 14-2 success over Brighouse Lions.
Turner continued his brilliant scoring run as neat passes from Declan Lumb, Owen Brooks, Jack Regan and Ryan Fennelly helped to set him on his way to another man of the match performance
Hayden Baldwin was also on the scoresheet with a fine hat trick while Sam Williams and Joel Steel, along with Jake Lewis, were in good form in defence to keep the Tigers at bay.
Brighouse battled on and managed to score two goals of their own.
CROSSLEY Belles under 11s and local rivals Greetland Girls shared the spoils from a thrilling 1-1 draw.
Unbeaten away from home, Greetland pushed their noses in front on 18 minutes when a move involving Boyle, Sinclair, Parsons and Jess Collins was finished neatly by Katie Collins.
They only held the lead for five minutes when a double deflection wrong footed keeper Alannah Chapman, who couldn't prevent the own goal from the battling Annie Flanagan.
Chances came and went at both ends but were just wide, or good saves were made by both goalkeepers to keep the scores level.
Dani Whiting thought she had won it five minutes from time when scoring direct from a corner, but the referee ruled it to have gone out of play before curling back in and in off the keeper.
Crossleys still hold a one point advantage over Greetland in their battle to be called Calderdale's top girls team at this age group. Hebden did manage a consolation goal near the end.
