Green-fingered volunteers have been working hard to get Halifax blooming.

Thirty-five barrier planters across the town were re-planted during a working session by the Halifax in Bloom team. Peter Oddy, from the group, said: “We had a fantastic time and it’s a real social event plus we get a chance to provide floral displays for the good people of Halifax to enjoy.”
Halifax in Bloom have to raise £2,000 a year to keep their work going.
