Halifax man, 24, found collapsed in Huddersfield town centre

A 24-year-old man from Halifax was rushed to hospital after being found collapsed in Huddersfield town centre.

He was discovered unconscious in an alleyway off John William Street near the Camel Club at 4.30am yesterday.

He was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary where his condition was described as stable this afternoon.

Police were called but say they are no longer investigating the circumstances surrounding his collapse.
