The owners of a missing six-month old Border Terrier are appealing for help.

Siblings Margot and Roger, both microchipped, escaped from a property at Gibb Lane, Mount Tabor at 11am on Monday.

Margot wandered into a farm at Balkram Edge, Wainstalls, late on the same day they went missing. A number of volunteers turned up to help search and were out until late.

Fortunately, Margot was found, but Roger is still missing.

The owners are Fiona and Hamish Sunter - they and their son Piers have been out searching the fields every day for him.

There are fears that he is trapped somewhere or has been taken in and with Bonfire Night coming up, he may panic as he hasn’t experienced fireworks before.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Fiona on 07585700546.
