A new social and care club for patients with leg conditions has been launched in Calderdale.

More than 60 people turned up - including the Mayor of Calderdale John Hardy - to the launch meeting at St Paul’s Methodist Church at Tower Hill, Sowerby Bridge.

The drop-in sessions will be held every Thursday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm at the church, to help people with leg conditions, such as ulcers, get help they need from district nurses from Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust in an informal setting.
