A driver of a HGV was cut from his vehicle after a crash on the M62 last night (Tuesday).
Fire crews from Rastrick, Cleckheaton, Huddersfield and Rochdale were called to the crash at around 7.30pm.
It happened on the westbound stretch of the motorway between junction 23 and 22.
A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said two HGVs were involved in the crash and it’s thought one had run into the back of the other.
The driver of one of the HGVs was trapped in the cab, so firefighters took the door off and moved the steering wheel to free him.
The man, in his 50s, is not thought to have suffered any serious injuries. The other driver was uninjured.
Crews cleared the scene by around 8.30pm
